NEXCOM and RMI
In today's networking solution, NP (networking processors) have specific features or architectures that are provided to enhance and optimize packet processing within these networks. Network processors have evolved into IC's with specific functions. This evolution has resulted in more complex and more flexible IC's is being created. RMI Corporation is a fanless semiconductor company providing highly integrated, feature-rich products ranging from power-optimized Super System-on-a-Chip (Super SoC™) solutions to High-Performance Processors for the Digital Consumer, Wireless, Networking and Security markets. RMI offers a platform of advanced MIPS®-compatible processing solutions with both 32/64-bit architectures supporting frequencies from 300MHz to 1.2GHz.

Regarding to port this new technology, customers need time to migrate their existing X86 architecture to MIPS64 one. To build up an image file to simulate platform, it will help our valve customers to put their applications into system as performance evaluation. With free SDK information, it will help our value customers to speed-up their design cycle in advance. Due to reference platform, RMI XLS can be scalable from single core to quad cores; there are various product designs with different expandable needs.
